The seasonal rainfall pattern in the Northern Region contributes to the endemic poverty people face especially in the rural communities where farming is their major source of income. During the long period of harmattan, most rural folks become redundant. To ensure that they have an all year round income earning ventures which guarantees better living conditions and a thriving community, we stimulate entrepreneurial training for women to acquire skills in variety of practical trades in which they can leverage to earn all year round income.
