Gender equality is a human fight not a female fight. This is why we work to attack cultural norms at the local level. Cultural norms, customs and traditional believes in communities tend to limit, infringe and take away some basic human rights from women. NAA channels efforts in influencing local legislations, traditional stakeholder engagements and rural public education programs to promote equal opportunity regardless of gender whilst ensuring that the different aspirations and needs of both genders are considered, valued and favored equally.
